Waterford Township and the 51st District Court
Located in the geographic center of the Oakland County, Waterford Township is home to 71,707 people across its 35.3 square miles of land. The township was organized in 1834 and presently borders Pontiac, White Lake Township, Keego Harbor and Independence Township. Located within the township are five unincorporated communities – Clintonville, Four Towns, Huron Heights and the City of Waterford.
Landmarks
Located on M-59 and Airport Road is the Oakland County International Airport (OCIA), and offers a variety of services. The airport is ranked as the world’s 12th busiest general aviation airport, based on its average of 120,000 takeoffs and landings annually. The majority of business at OICA is freight and private, chartered flights.
