This area of northern Macomb County is one the fastest growing residential areas in Metro Detroit. District Courts Have Jurisdiction Over Criminal & Traffic Cases

Crimes are classified as misdemeanors or felonies.

• Misdemeanors are defined as criminal offenses that can carry not more than one (1) year or less in the county jail.
• Felonies are defined as serious criminal offenses which can carry more than one (1) year – up to life, in prison.
